PlanetAI Research Lab is a nascent, privately managed research initiative founded by independent researchers united by a shared vision to advance planet-aware, sustainable Artificial Intelligence that serves both the environment and the people of Earth.
Our journey began on 1st January 2026, marking the start of a collaborative exploration into interdisciplinary pathways where AI can contribute to ecological balance, climate resilience, social equity, and responsible technological progress. As a growing initiative, we are currently hosted by Adroit Learning Foundation, Kolkata, India and we are bootstrapping our efforts very fast with the aspiration of evolving into a full-fledged research lab in the near future.

As part of its commitment to fostering a community of technocrats who grow responsibly while honoring the planet and its people, PlanetAI Research Lab is launching a first of it's kind online Guided-Self Paced (max 6 months) Diploma Course titled “Planet-aware Artificial Intelligence.”
Scheduled to launch on July 1st, 2026, this program is designed for AI enthusiasts, researchers, developers, and learners from diverse backgrounds who aspire to integrate sustainability, responsibility, and inclusivity into intelligent technologies.
Participants who successfully complete the course, will be awarded a Diploma in Planet-aware Artificial Intelligence recognizing their commitment to planet-aware intelligent innovation.
